Seeking experience with Extreme Network Switches and Routers
Job Description:
- Evaluate the integration of hardware and software needs for the network; collect and optimize network statistical data; maintain inter-operability with third party systems; develop standards, enforce and maintain system documentation; upgrade network operating systems utilizing multiple data communication protocols.
- Design and implementation of the WAN to ensure a high level of connectivity within the network.
Requirements:
- A CCNA, preferably a CCIE –OR—an Extreme Networks certification • Bachelor’s degree
- 5 Years Networking
- 10 years experience in IT
- Enterprise-level network design and/or support experience
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer2/3 technologies, routing protocols
- WAN acceleration, forward/reverse proxy, firewalls, network analysis tools (netflow, sflow, jflow, etc.).
