Description
- Provide infrastructure technical expertise in support of all business and IT sponsored projects, and provide direction and mentoring to platform engineers with an emphasis on the server platform.
- Provide Technical leadership on business and IT sponsored projects.
- Define and document the strategic technical direction and provide mentoring for the platform infrastructure.
REQUIREMENTS
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required.
- Relevant technical certifications and/or equivalent experience required.
- 5+years of technical experience in current enterprise level server and storage design, networking, virtualization, configuration and capacity management (Windows, Solaris, EMC, Centera, Netapp, HP, Sun hardware)
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical role as a team leader or engineer preferred.
- Able to understand new technical concepts and apply them.
- Creates technical design documents using Microsoft Visio, such as application flows and other engineering documents.
- Create technical specification and standards documentation.
